God saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be. 
He wrapped him in his loving arms and whispered “Come with me.” 
He suffered much in silence, his spirit did not bend. 
He faced his pain with courage, until the very end. 
He tried so hard to stay with us but his fight was not in vain, 
God took him to His loving home and freed him from the pain.

One year ago yesterday, on a blessed Thanksgiving day, baby Jayden went to be held in the arms of Jesus.  Eight days before then, I was called to one of the most unforgettable sessions of my career.  Baby Jayden was born with Hydraencephaly and was given only days to live.

I will never forget this sweet, beautiful boy and the joy he brought to everyone who took care of him at the Hospice house The joy he brought to me in the short amount of time I was with him is still indescribable.  Though I knew he was going home to the Lord soon, he was so full of life and filled with spunk while I was photographing him. Even his nurses were amazed and somehow there was peace.  He was kicking his little legs in excitement and I promise you, we all saw a few precious smiles and he made eye contact several times. I knew he was happy for that moment.  Truly this was a difficult session to edit as he passed away just days after I took these. But I am so very thankful for the opportunity to capture this special time for his sweet mommy and family.

Jayden, you will never be forgotten! You were made perfectly, in His image!

—10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
